Step 1 — Choose the Right Format
The format determines everything: number of teams, match duration, and how long the tournament takes. For a one-day event with 8 teams, a group stage (4 groups of 2) followed by knockouts works perfectly. A 5v5 format is faster and allows more matches; 7v7 is more tactical and suits experienced players.

Step 2 — Book the Venue Early
